Theories & Techniques
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
This type of psychotherapy focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. CBT helps individuals identify negative thought patterns and change their behaviors by practicing new skills.
Solution Focused Therapy
SFT is a brief, goal-oriented approach to therapy that emphasizes finding solutions rather than dwelling on problems. Therapists help clients identify their existing strengths, resources, and coping mechanisms. SFT also focuses on the client’s expertise in their own lives and helps them to envision their desired future.
Person Centered Therapy
PCT is based on the belief that every individual has an inherent drive towards self-actualization- the tendency to grow, develop, and fulfill their potential. This humanistic approach empowers clients to take responsibility for their own growth and change.
